SWITHIN’S, CANNON STREET [LONDON], AFTER THOMAS HOSMER SHEPHERD’S PAINTING, ENGRAVED BY J. TINGLE. St. Giles’ Cripplegate is one of the few remaining medieval churches that survived the bombings of London during WWII. The fore-edge paintings here are 20th century work.
